HTC Desire Z – Das Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread Rollout hat begonnen

Manchmal kann es schneller gehen als man es erwartet. Eine ganze Weile gab es zum Thema Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread Update für das HTC Desire Z überhaupt keine Informationen und nun kommt es Schlag auf Schlag. Erst verkündet HTC endlich offiziell, dass das Update sich bereits in der finalen Testphase befindet und in den nächsten Wochen ausgerollt werden wird und nun kommt die nächste erfreuliche Nachricht. Und zwar hat das Rollout bereits begonnen!

Unser Leser Steven hat nämlich soeben eine Meldung auf seinem HTC Desire Z erhalten, dass für sein Telefon das Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread Update bereit steht. Ich habe soeben mit HTC Deutschland telefoniert und nachgefragt, warte nun auf eine Bestätigung und dann auch auf eine offizielle Ankündigung.

Rollout hat begonnen. Habs gerade in diesem Moment erhalten. Endlich.

Hat von euch sonst noch jemand das Update erhalten oder handelt es sich bei Steven um einen Einzelfall? Überprüft es bitte unter “Einstellungen => Telefoninfo => Software-Updates”!

Update:

Habe soeben auch eine offizielle Bestätigung von HTC Deutschland erhalten! Die Software wird übrigens auf Versionsnummer 2.42.405.2 aktualisiert.

… können wir heute offiziell bestätigen – ja!

    Hast du eins bekommen, welches 40mb groß ist? Handelt es sich dabei nicht um Gingerbread?

      Nein. Das ist die aktuellste Version mit 2.2. Daher frage ich. Ich bin noch BEWUSST auf 1.34.405.1 ( auch 2.2)

      geht noch nichts, was ist mit Brending geräten T-online

        Das dauert erfahrungsgemäß etwas länger, da der Provider erstmal das Update für sein Branding anpassen wird.

      Du Musst erst alle Alten Updates also auch das 1.72 machen Bevor du auf
      Gingerbread Updaten kannst.

Super Update, hab das Gefühl mein Smartphone läuft jetzt schneller und flüssiger. Ein paar kleine Probleme gibt es aber: das Wiget Menü ist total durcheinander (falsche übersetzungen?) und das Picasa Web Album Plugin geht nicht mehr… =/

  Bei mir geht Picasa Plugin auch nicht mehr. Ich habe aber den Eindruck, dass mein Z seit dem Update wesentlich langsamer ist – vor allem die Kontakte brauchen ewig zum laden.

Schön, dass es bei euch funktioniert, mein HTC zeigte nur ein fettes rotes Ausrufezeichen, und jetzt startet es zwar noch, aber mehr als den Startscreen gibt es nicht her…. Hard Reset wollte mir auch nicht helfen :(

auch wenn ich aktualisiere zeigt es mit nichts an. kann mir das vielleicht jmd mal erläutern wieso ich das neue Update nicht bekomme? LG Neoxeo

I was just waiting for the Gingerbread OS based HTC Desire! I wanted to access the best user interface as for me it comes first other than anything else. It seems HTC family will now rock! Thanks for the updates!
